Provide School Supplies to Gaza Classrooms

Three teachers at the Women’s Program Center–Rafah School in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, have reached out with a request for essential school supplies for their students as they begin the school year.

Right now, their school is just a temporary learning space inside a tent. We ask for your help. Let's start here, then do more classrooms.

This first request covers 162 students across three classrooms:

• First Grade: 59 students — Ms. Neda’a, teacher
• Second Grade: 42 students — Ms. Sabreen, teacher
• Third Grade: 61 students — Ms. Bissan, teacher

Our goal is to provide each of these 162 children with a complete school supply package that includes: 

• 1 School Bag
• 4 Pencils
• 2 Erasers
• 2 Sharpeners
• 1 Plastic Ruler
• 10 Ruled Notebooks (60 sheets each)
• 1 Glue Stick
• 1 Pencil Case
• 1 Pack of Crayons
• 1 Pack of Colored Pencils
• 2 Blue Pens
• 1 Drawing Book
• 1 Water Bottle

Once the initial 162 packages are covered, let’s keep going to provide supplies for the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders at the WPC-R School, and then move on to more classrooms at other schools.

You can provide a school supply package for a child or family you know in Gaza, even if they are not part of the school.

One package = one child = $40.

Please donate the exact amount needed to cover the number of children you would like to provide packages for. At checkout, add the following information in the Note section:

• Child/family name
• Number of packages (Number of beneficiaries)
• Location (neighborhood)
• Family contact name and phone number

This will help our Gaza team contact the intended recipient(s) and coordinate package pick-up accordingly.

Project Goal: $6,730 — Total funds needed to provide the planned school supply packages, including all associated project costs.

Package contents may vary slightly depending on market availability while maintaining comparable quality and overall value.
