We are grateful to share some great accomplishments from February 2026. Our team in Gaza was able to support families with winter bundles, helping them secure safe shelter and stay warm during a harsh winter season.
This was an urgent appeal, as Storm Byron has brought freezing temperatures, heavy rain, and severe flooding to Gaza, leaving families struggling as tents are torn and soaked, forcing them to face the storm without proper shelter. Thanks to the generous support of donors, we were able to respond quickly and help protect vulnerable families.
Assistance has reached families across Khan Younis, Gaza City, and Deir Al-Balah. Each bundle included a standard new tent for shelter, a heavy-duty 4×6 meter tarp for added protection against flooding, a 4 kg winter blanket, three warm jackets for children, and three sets of children’s clothing.
While winter has now ended and the summer heat has begun, many families are still in urgent need of protection from extreme weather conditions. Our team continues to work hard to identify safe and effective solutions to deliver essential support, and this would not be possible without your continued support.
Thanks to donors, we are able to continue delivering carefully prepared aid bundles tailored to each season and situation. These packages go beyond shelter — they provide dignity, safety, and moments of relief for families facing extremely difficult circumstances.
