What is Gaza GivingCart™?
Gaza GivingCart™ is an online platform that allows donors to help provide essential items to their families in Gaza or to other families in need, selected by our giving teams. Donors can choose from our catalog of essential goods, provided by trusted local suppliers for pick-up or delivery to beneficiary families in Gaza.
How does Gaza GivingCart™ work?
To help your family or a loved one, simply browse our online catalog, select the items you want to send, and choose the beneficiary in Gaza. Our team will give them a call and arrange for pick-up or delivery.
Can I select who my donation or gift goes to?
Yes, you can either select a specific beneficiary, such as a family member or friend, or choose “where needed most” and our team will select the beneficiary family.
What if I don't have family in Gaza but I want to help people on the ground?
Yes. Your support is needed and can really help families in Gaza. During the checkout stage, please select “where needed most” and our team will distribute the item to a family in need. Rebuilding Alliance, the nonprofit founder of Gaza GivingCart™, is working with trusted, vetted Palestinian NonGovernmental Organizations to choose among single-parent families, those who took in orphans, or those with disabilities.
Are donations refundable to the donor?
Once an item is picked-up or delivered, the donation cannot be refunded. If however, we can’t reach the family designated by a donor, we’ll notify the donor to ask for more information. If we cannot deliver the item, we’ll ask to use your donation for another family in need.
Can items be returned once a family receives them?
If an error occurs with an item, such as the wrong size being delivered, exchanges may be possible in urgent cases, provided it was our fault or the supplier’s mistake.
How do I know my donated items were received?
When you make your donations, our staff will call the beneficiary family to notify them of your donation and arrange for pick-up or delivery. When the beneficiaries receive the item(s), the donor receives confirmation of delivery. This may include a note from the beneficiary.
We also provide updates on how donations are benefiting those in need.
Can I donate money directly instead of purchasing items?
We do not transfer cash. Our platform is designed for donors to give specific items from our catalog — and this include a Gaza GiftCard option that allows the beneficiary family to choose any item available from the supplier. Your donation provides essential goods, directly benefiting families in Gaza.
How are my personal details protected?
Your privacy is our priority. Your personal information is securely stored and processed in compliance with our Privacy Policy. We implement strict measures to ensure your data is kept safe.
What if the item I ordered for my family is the wrong size?
If the wrong size or item is delivered to your beneficiary, exchanges are allowed in urgent situations, provided the error is on our end or the supplier’s. Please have the beneficiary contact us promptly to arrange an exchange from our supplier.

Are donated items delivered directly to the beneficiaries?
When you make your selection and donate accordingly, our team will call the beneficiary family to let them know and to discuss pick-up or delivery. Because families are moving home, it may be difficult for them to pick-up from the supplier. Our team is determined to find them and get their items to them and to notify you when we do.
